We're looking to recruit:

2 x Catering Assistants (26 hours per week)

1 x Cook Manager (40 hours per week)

About the Role
Whether you're an experienced Cook Manager looking to lead a busy school kitchen or a Catering Assistant who enjoys preparing and serving nutritious meals, you'll play an important role in creating a positive dining experience for pupils, staff, and visitors.
Working in a school environment offers an excellent work-life balance, with shifts during the day, Monday to Friday, and school holidays off.
You’ll work as part of a supportive team delivering great service while maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.
What You’ll Do

Prepare and serve fresh, nutritious meals.

Support the smooth day-to-day running of the kitchen.

Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness.

Deliver excellent customer service to pupils, staff, and visitors.

Work collaboratively as part of a friendly and supportive team.

Cook Manager: Lead the kitchen operation, manage stock, ordering, compliance, budgets, and support your team to deliver an outstanding catering service.
What We’re Looking For

A positive, friendly, and professional attitude.

A passion for food and excellent customer service.

Previous catering or hospitality experience is desirable.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

For the Cook Manager role, previous kitchen, Cooking, leadership or supervisory experience is desirable

Food Hygiene qualifications are advantageous but not essential, as full training can be provided.

Additional Information
Term Time Only – Equated Pay
This role works 38/39 weeks per year. Your salary will be paid in equal monthly instalments across 12 months, meaning you receive consistent pay throughout the year, including during school closure periods.
