Overview
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented CAD Draftsman/woman to join our dynamic design team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings and models for a variety of projects, ranging from architectural to engineering applications. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise your CAD expertise and contribute to innovative system and construction designs within a collaborative environment.
Duties
- Develop detailed 2D drawings using software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks
- Create schematic diagrams and system designs for construction and engineering projects
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and designers to translate concepts into accurate technical representations
- Assist in the preparation of construction documentation and schematics for client approval
- Review drawings for accuracy, compliance with standards, and feasibility before final submission
- Maintain organised digital files and ensure version control throughout project lifecycles
Skills
- Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, and SolidWorks
- Knowledge of construction processes and experience working within architectural or engineering environments is desirable
- Ability to interpret technical schematics and translate them into detailed drawings
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
