We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. Duties
- Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0-5 years, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning through play, focusing on the individual needs of each child.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to build strong relationships and ensure a collaborative approach to childcare.
- Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and outdoor play, ensuring that all activities are conducted in a safe manner.
- Observe and assess children's progress, maintaining accurate records to support their development.
- Work as part of a team to create an inclusive environment that respects diversity and encourages positive behaviour.
- Drive initiatives that enhance the nursery's educational offerings and support children's growth.
Experience
- Proven experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential.
- A qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire both children and colleagues.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.
- A genuine passion for childcare and the development of young children.
