We are currently seeking a skilled and committed Liquid Roofer to join our growing team in the south.
The Role
You will form one half of a two-person roofing team, working on in the main liquid roofing projects.. Your work will be key to delivering timely and professional roofing projects in the north of England. You’ll be supported by our Service Delivery Manager and our Help Desk team, with real-time scheduling and reporting managed via our CRM system.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high level of technical ability on a wide range of flat roofing projects from BUR's to commercial overlays and domestic roofs.
- Carry out reactive repairs or loft insulation jobs to pitched roofs during periods of poor/non flat roofing weather
- Diagnose and repair a wide range of roofing issues including pitched and flat roof systems.
- Use software to receive, update and close jobs, including uploading photographs and job notes.
- Liaise professionally with residents, clients and colleagues to ensure excellent customer experience.
- Provide support to Management team in attending complex repairs and surveys.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area in line with SSR Roofing’s H&S procedures.
- Conduct dynamic risk assessments on-site to ensure safety and awareness of ACMs.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a roofer ideally large planned works & or social housing experience.
- NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Roofing (required).
- Valid CSCS Card &Full UK driving licence (essential).
- PASMA certification (Desired).
- Comfortable using mobile job management systems.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
