As our Air Conditioning division continues to grow, we are looking for an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to join our dedicated team based in Oxfordshire.
This is a permanent, full-time position offering long-term career progression, varied work and the opportunity to become part of a professional team committed to delivering exceptional standards.
The Role
You will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance and repair of a wide range of air conditioning systems across commercial, industrial and high-end domestic properties.
Working independently and alongside our wider engineering teams, you will deliver high-quality workmanship while providing excellent customer service and representing our brand professionally at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, service and maintain air conditioning systems.
- Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently.
- Commission new air conditioning installations.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
- Attend reactive maintenance call-outs.
- Complete service reports, commissioning documentation and certification.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and manufacturers' specifications.
- Ensure all work complies with current legislation, industry standards and Health & Safety requirements.
- Liaise professionally with clients, site managers and colleagues.
- Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and workmanship on every project.
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience installing and maintaining air conditioning systems.
- F-Gas Category 1 Certification.
- Experience working on split, multi-split and VRV/VRF systems.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Comfortable working at height when required.
Desirable Qualifications & Experience
- Experience with heat pump systems.
- Experience working within commercial and industrial environments.
- Electrical knowledge and fault-finding experience.
- IPAF and PASMA qualifications.
- CSCS or ECS Card.
- Experience with manufacturers such as Daikin, Mitsubishi Electric, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Fujitsu, Toshiba or Panasonic.
