What We’re Looking For
You’ll be confident working independently and as part of a team, producing high-quality dishes to a consistently high standard.
Key responsibilities include:
- Running your section smoothly and efficiently
- Preparing with precision and care
- Maintaining excellent attention to detail, portion control, and minimal wastage
- Assisting the Head Chef with recipe development and new ideas when required
- Keeping your section clean, organised, and operating to high food safety standards
Skills
- Experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen environments preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team
- Previous experience in a restaurant or serving environment is advantageous but not essential
- Enthusiasm for culinary arts and willingness to learn new techniques
