Our client is a highly regarded national accountancy and advisory practice with a strong presence across the UK. Due to continued growth and a healthy pipeline of new business, they are looking to strengthen their audit team with the appointment of an Audit Assistant Manager or Manager.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative and supportive team, working with a diverse portfolio of clients ranging from entrepreneurial owner-managed businesses to large corporate groups across a variety of sectors.
The Opportunity:
You will play a key role in the planning, delivery and completion of audit assignments, whilst developing strong client relationships and supporting the development of junior team members.
Depending on your level, responsibilities may include:
- Leading audit assignments from planning through to completion.
- Managing client relationships and acting as a key point of contact throughout the audit process.
- Reviewing the work of junior team members and providing coaching and development support.
- Identifying opportunities to add value and improve client service delivery.
- Assisting with business development activities and networking opportunities.
- Managing audit budgets, timelines and engagement profitability.
- Supporting Partners and Directors with larger, more complex assignments.
About You:

You will ideally possess:
- ACA / ACCA qualification (or be approaching qualification).
- Recent external audit experience gained within an accountancy practice environment.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Experience supervising, mentoring or reviewing the work of others.
- A proactive and commercially minded approach to client service.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.

Pay: £45,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
