With a strong pipeline of secured work, including a landmark healthcare development in London, they are seeking an experienced Building Services Manager to join their team and play a key role in the successful delivery of this flagship scheme.

The Role
Reporting to the Project Director, you will take responsibility for the management, coordination, installation and commissioning of all Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) services across a major healthcare project.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be involved in the delivery of a technically challenging, high-profile medical facility from construction through to handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the design, coordination and delivery of all building services packages throughout the project lifecycle.
- Work closely with pre-construction, design and operational teams to ensure client requirements are fully integrated into project delivery.
- Oversee design development, technical reviews, drawing approvals and programme management activities.
- Ensure all M&E services are coordinated effectively with the building fabric and construction programme.
- Monitor compliance with Building Regulations, HTM guidance, project specifications and industry standards.
- Support planning and project teams to ensure building services activities align with key project milestones.
- Manage specialist subcontractors and monitor performance, quality and programme adherence.
- Establish and maintain quality assurance procedures across all building services activities.
- Work alongside commercial teams to review variations, change control and subcontractor valuations.
- Lead testing, commissioning and validation activities to ensure systems operate in accordance with design requirements.
- Coordinate client demonstrations, end-user training and successful project handover.
- Attend and chair technical, design, progress and commissioning meetings with project stakeholders.
About You
- Proven experience in a Building Services Manager position within a main contractor, M&E contractor or consultancy environment.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems within large-scale construction projects.
- Previous experience delivering healthcare, life sciences, pharmaceutical or technically complex projects would be advantageous.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and coordinate specialist subcontractors effectively.
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of project delivery processes.
- Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.
Qualifications
Applicants should possess one or more of the following:
- Degree in Building Services Engineering or related discipline.
- HNC/HND in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering.
- BTEC qualification in Building Services Engineering.
- Relevant Mechanical or Electrical trade qualification supported by significant project delivery experience.

Pay: £80,000.00-£95,000.00 per year
