Hayfield offers an extensive range of support services to Deaf people with additional care needs such as Learning Disabilities and / or Mental Health Diagnosis. Help make a positive difference to peoples’ lives. We offer a safe, therapeutic and facilitating environment which encourages individuals to achieve personal fulfilment and an enhanced level of independence. These posts require applicants to have relevant care experience (volunteer or family or care sector) combined with a positive value base, offering an enthusiastic and compassionate approach.
A knowledge of Deafness and Sign language experience and SVQ Social care would be an advantage however full training will be provided as we recognise that being a person of integrity, warmth and dedication is core to our service.
All posts are subject to PVG Scheme / update, two written references and registration with SSSC
Previous experience working in social care sector would be an advantage. The ideal candidate is someone with a caring nature, enthusiasm and willingness to learn. Full training and support with regards to your professional development will be provided.
