We're looking for a reliable, enthusiastic, and hardworking Lifeguard / Leisure Attendant to join our friendly leisure club team. This is a varied role where no two days are the same, combining pool supervision, customer service, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the club.
What You'll Be Doing
- Supervising the swimming pool and ensuring the safety of all guests.
- Carrying out regular cleaning duties across the leisure club to maintain exceptional hygiene standards. This role is heavily focused on cleaning, so you'll need to be happy working in a hands-on environment.
- Supporting the wider leisure team with the smooth day-to-day operation of the club.
- Providing excellent customer service to members and guests.
- Assisting with reception duties, including welcoming members, answering enquiries, and handling bookings when required.
- Reporting to the Leisure club Manager
Shift Pattern
This role operates on 5 days out of 7 rota, including a mixture of weekend working and weekends off.
Typical shifts include on a typical week.
- 6:30am – 3:00pm
- 10:30am – 7:00pm
- 12:00pm – 8:30pm
- 1:30pm – 10:00pm
A monthly rota is provided in advance when possible, giving you visibility of your working pattern.
What We're Looking For
- A valid National Pool Lifeguard Qualification (NPLQ).
- A positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- A willingness to carry out cleaning duties to a high standard.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A Level 2 Gym Instructor qualification is desirable but not essential.
