Staffing Match is working with a leading logistics subcontractor based in Dartford, and we're currently recruiting HGV Class 1 Tramper Drivers for ongoing full-time work.
We're looking for experienced Class 1 tramper drivers to carry out long-distance trunking work across the UK. You'll be tramping Monday to Friday, spending 4-5 nights per week in the vehicle. This is clean trunking work with no handballing or multi-drop, using modern vehicles and working with a professional, supportive operations team.
Pay Details (LTD):
- £180 per day (including night out allowance)
- Limited Company drivers only
- Weekly pay
- Minimum 8-hour shifts guaranteed
Your Role:

Key duties include:
- Long-distance UK trunking routes
- Overnight stays in vehicle - 4 to 5 nights per week
- Daily vehicle checks and defect reporting
- Tachograph and driving hours compliance
- Clear communication with the transport team
- No handballing or manual unloading involved
What You'll Need:
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence
- CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum 12 months' Class 1 experience preferred
- No more than 6 points (NO DR, DD, IN10)
- Comfortable with weekly tramping
- Must be paid through a Limited Company
