Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Person to ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of our facilities and equipment. In this energetic role, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and conducting repairs across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on machinery, electrical systems, plumbing, and structural components to prevent breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems using schematics and technical manuals
- Operate and maintain programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to automate equipment functions effectively
- Conduct welding repairs as needed to restore damaged metal components or structures
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately diagnose issues
- Supervise maintenance tasks performed by team members or contractors, ensuring quality and safety standards are met
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and parts inventory
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal requests promptly and professionally
- Lead safety initiatives related to maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with all safety protocols
Experience
- Proven experience in maintenance roles with a strong mechanical background
- Knowledge of electrical systems with the ability to troubleshoot electrical issues confidently
- Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is highly desirable
- Skilled in welding techniques for metal repairs and fabrication
- Familiarity with reading schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a maintenance environment is preferred
- Strong communication skills in English to effectively coordinate with team members and other departments
