Weekend accommodation support staff – Supported accommodation team.
Location: North Devon
Responsible to: Supported Accommodation Project Manager
Hours: 15 hours
Salary: £10,537.80 (FTE £25,993.24)
Contract: Fixed until 31/03/2028
Weekend Support Provision
Hours: 9:00am – 5:00pm
Provision: Saturdays and Sundays
Weekend staff will provide:
- structured support and engagement,
- well-being check-ins,
- practical tenancy support,
- community engagement activities,
- and support to reduce social isolation and risk.
Weekend provision recognises that:
- weekends can present increased risks around loneliness,
- substance use,
- relapse,
- exploitation,
- and emotional crisis.
The service will therefore adopt a harm reduction approach focused on:
- reducing risk,
- preventing overdose,
- supporting engagement,
- and maintaining accommodation stability.
This will include:
- staff trained in naloxone administration,
- overdose response procedures,
- partnership working with drug and alcohol services,
- well-being monitoring,
- and non-judgmental engagement.
Safeguarding & Risk Management
The service will maintain:
- dynamic safety planning,
- safeguarding procedures,
- lone working procedures,
- incident reporting systems,
- and clear escalation pathways.
