Experienced Tyre Technician – Garage Based
Lewis Irwin Tyres is a well-established local tyre company serving customers throughout Ayrshire. From our busy depot in Ayr, we provide tyre fitting, repairs and wheel alignments, alongside our mobile fitting and wholesale tyre services.
We have built our reputation on reliable service, quality workmanship and excellent customer care. We are now looking for an experienced Tyre Technician to join our friendly team in a full-time, garage-based position.
The role will include:
- Fitting and removing tyres on cars and vans
- Carrying out tyre inspections and puncture repairs
- Wheel balancing and wheel alignments
- Checking tyre condition, pressure and tread depth
- Maintaining a clean and safe working area
- Providing helpful and professional customer service
The ideal candidate will have:
- At least two years’ experience in car and van tyre fitting
- Experience in tyre inspections, repairs and wheel balancing
- Wheel alignment experience would be an advantage
- A professional and customer-focused approach
- The ability to work efficiently as part of a busy team
- Good attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship
- A reliable and positive attitude
