Are you an experienced Field Service Engineer with a passion for solving complex technical challenges and delivering outstanding customer service? Rapiscan Systems is seeking a talented engineer to support our RTT, CT, Checkpoint, BPI and Trace product portfolio across customer sites throughout the UK.
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure and commission advanced screening and detection systems.

Carry out preventative maintenance and system upgrades.

Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, electronic, software and networking faults.

Provide professional technical support to customers and stakeholders.

Complete service documentation and maintenance records accurately.

Participate in an on-call and standby rota.

Deliver operator and technical training when required.

Conduct site surveys and provide technical recommendations.
Qualifications:
- Previous customer-facing engineering, service or maintenance experience.

Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.

Experience with electronic and computer-based systems.

Knowledge of PC hardware, software configuration and basic networking.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Engineering qualification such as BTEC, HNC, NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent experience.

Full UK driving license and willingness to travel.
