Responsibilities:
The Lettings Assistant plays a key frontline role in driving occupancy and enhancing the Student Cribs brand experience. You will be responsible for conducting high-quality property viewings, converting enquiries into bookings, and supporting the wider city team to maximise lettings performance.
This is a fast-paced, customer-facing role where enthusiasm, energy, and attention to detail directly contribute to commercial success.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-person and virtual property viewings to prospective tenants and guarantors delivering engaging and informative viewing experiences.
- Follow up promptly with prospective tenants to drive conversion.
- Support the team in achieving occupancy and lettings targets.
- Report on feedback from viewings to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Respond to phone, email, and online enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Support the progression of applicants from enquiry to signed tenancy.
- Assist with tenancy administration and documentation as required.
- Support marketing initiatives and local promotional activity.
- Provide feedback to City/Lettings Manager on market conditions and demand.
- Assist during peak season with flexible working hours where necessary.
- Assist with tenant handover over the summer periods.

Desirable
- Previous experience in lettings, property, hospitality, retail, or sales.
- Experience working with students or in customer-facing roles.
- Knowledge of the local student market.
- Full UK driving licence (depending on city requirements).
Remuneration & Benefits
- Schedule: Monday – Friday with option of some weekend working in peak times.
- Hours: 10:00-19:00 with an hour lunch break - 40 working hours per week.
Pay: £13.00 per hour
