Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks across designated area , including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to meet health and safety standards
- Handle waste disposal efficiently, ensuring bins are emptied regularly and recycling protocols are followed
- Use cleaning equipment and supplies safely and effectively, adhering to proper procedures
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly to supervisors for quick resolution
- Follow established cleaning schedules and checklists to ensure consistency and quality in service delivery
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail to ensure all spaces are thoroughly cleaned and presentable
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums safely
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on hygiene and sanitation standards
- Good physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform cleaning tasks for extended periods
- Strong communication skills for reporting issues or completing documentation accurately
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while following safety protocols
- Flexibility to adapt to different cleaning schedules or additional responsibilities as needed
Pay: Up to £13.45 per hour
