Job Overview
We are seeking an Accountant, preferably with some experience of general practise and accounts preparation to join our team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals enthusiastic to produce accurate financial information for a range of clients and seeking to develop their expertise within a dynamic organisation.
Duties
- Prepare financial accounts from client records.
- Use excel and IRIS to produce those accounts.
- Produce accounts in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with other departments to facilitate smooth financial operations.
- Ensure compliance with tax laws and financial regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience in financial accounting or related roles within the general practice sector.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero or similar programmes would be an advantage.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in all work outputs.
- Relevant qualifications such as AAT or ACCA are preferred but not essential.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new systems and processes.
- Good communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial information clearly. This position is ideal for a motivated professional looking to contribute their expertise within a supportive environment that values continuous development.
