Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Part-time Barista to join our vibrant team. Duties
- Prepare and serve a range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, in accordance with company standards.
- Assist customers with their orders in a courteous and professional manner.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the coffee station and seating area throughout the shift.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards at all times.
- Restock supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during busy periods.
- Support food preparation tasks when required, including light snack assembly.
- Manage time effectively to serve customers promptly during peak hours.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar serving role is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures is desirable.
- Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely service during busy periods.
- Friendly, approachable manner with a genuine enthusiasm for customer service.
