We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team at FCC. The successful candidate will play a vital role in providing personalised support and guidance to our young people, fostering their development and wellbeing. This role offers an opportunity to make a positive impact within a caring environment, working closely with our young people to promote independence and confidence.
Duties
- Offer mentoring and emotional support tailored to each individual's needs
- Assist young people to transition to independence via key working, attend appointments and meetings, attend education and ensure their safety and comfort
- Facilitate engaging activities that promote social skills, learning, and independence
- Collaborate with families and other professionals.
- Monitor progress and provide feedback to ensure ongoing development goals are met
- Maintain accurate records of support provided, adhering to organisational policies and confidentiality standards
Experience
- Prior experience working with children or young people is desirable; full training will be given
- Knowledge PACE training is desirable
- IT skills are required for this role
- A caring attitude with excellent communication skills is essential
- Ability to adapt approaches to meet individual needs and circumstances
Must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to own car
