We now have a fantastic opportunity for a HGV driver to join our team.
*Must have a valid CPC card* MONDAY - FRIDAY
This position will be based in Bispham and will require deliveries to surrounding area's.
Requirements
Delivers items by preparing, loading, unloading, operating, and cleaning a van.
This position will include driving a class 2 vehicle
Duties:
- Prepares van for operation by inspecting general condition; checking fluid levels and tire pressure; obtaining or scheduling required repairs; validating adherence to roadability standards.
- Always exceed the customer’s expectations through high level customer service - polite, well mannered, etc
- Help loading van by placing and securing items.
- Deliver items to customers, operating the van and unloading items.
- Serve customers by understanding and resolving or forwarding complaints and / or adjusting orders.
- Adhering to payment terms instructions meaning liaising with staff re payment method i.e. accepting cash / cheques or ensuring customers have paid by card or bank transfer.
- Participate in stock takes and other warehouse duties.
- Must be well presented at all times.
- Driving experience of Transit or similar vehicle is essential.
- Must have a good physical fitness level as the position requires **heavy manual lifting**
- Must have high hygiene standards. ***This is necessity***
