Responsibilities
- Supervising children during afterschool hours in a safe and nurturing manner
- Assisting with homework and organising educational activities to promote learning and development
- Supporting children with their social interactions and behavioural development
- Preparing snacks or light refreshments for children when necessary
- Maintaining a clean and organised environment conducive to learning and play
- Communicating effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and behaviour
- Ensuring adherence to safety protocols at all times during supervision and transportation
Experience
- Prior experience in childcare, teaching, nannying, or similar roles is preferred but not essential; training will be provided where necessary
- Knowledge of child development principles and behaviour management strategies is advantageous
- Fluency in English is mandatory;
- Ability to engage children through creative activities and educational games
- Strong organisational skills, patience, and a caring attitude are essential for success in this role
Pay: £12.71-£13.00 per hour
