Our Ormeau Road Off-licence has a vacancy for an experienced retail assistant. Located in the heart of the community, most of our customers are “repeats”, therefore a friendly, welcoming personality is required. Flexibility toward working hours is essential.
Responsibilities – General
- Greet customers politely
- Offer assistance/recommendations when required
- Ring up accurate sales
- Keep shelves well stocked
- Keep premises/stock clean & tidy
- Cash up at end of shift
Responsibilities – Occasional
- Placing orders with suppliers
- Checking in deliveries
- Recording daily sales takings
- Communicate with head office

Experience – Skills
- 2+ years experience essential
- Minimum GCSEs or equivalent
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Willingness to learn all aspects of the job
- Honest and hard working
