Job Overview
We’re are seeking Front of House Team Members and Line chefs to to join our talented team at The Langton Inn, LE16 7FD
This roles are ideal if you’re looking for full/part time hours, enjoy working in a fast‑paced environment.
Line Chef Role
Responsibility for safely preparing, cooking and presenting our food to our brand specifications and company hygiene standards. You will be responsible for the smooth running of the kitchen in the absence of the Kitchen Manager or Head Chef including the management of food safety and health and safety.
Duties
- Setting up the kitchen, ensuring that all food preparation is completed prior to service.
- Champion and meet all relevant standards of hygiene, cleanliness and safety.
- Be an expert in the menu, prep, cook and serve food correctly every time and to specification.
- Operate, clean and use all equipment safely.
- Complete all assigned opening and closedown tasks correctly, ensuring that theseare documented in the KRQKB and signed off as complete
- Manage and store food deliveries to standard, ensuring and issues are reported as per process.
- Support new team in the completion of their training.

Front of House Team Member
Duties required for this Role
- Greet and seat all guests with a genuine warm welcome and deliver world class service throughout their visit.
- Recommend dishes and assist guests in their choices through expert product knowledge.
- Supporting sales targets by upselling wherever possible
- Understand and follow correct health, safety and hygiene standards.
- Ensure a speedy payment and a genuine thank you at the end of every guests visit.
- Carry out required cleaning tasks and closedown procedures at the end of your shift to company standard.
- Engage with every type of guest, offering help and going the extra mile.
- When dealing with guest complaints you will remain calm and rational and do everything you can to come to a resolution, ensuring the guest leaves happy
