Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a company vehicle to transport passengers
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Communicate with passengers in a professional and friendly manner
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance to ensure safety and reliability
- Keep accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and other relevant information
Experience:
- Previous experience as a driver, especially Minibus.
- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks
- Valid driving licence with Catergory D1 required for the position
- Fluent in English to effectively communicate with customers or passengers
- Ability to maintain a clean driving record
Driving a minibus for home to school / Community driver in and around south Birmingham
Hours could be up to 20 hours per week with available overtime if required.
You will need a category D1 on your licence (requirement). This is a safeguarding position as you will be working with vulnerable adults and children so an enhanced DBS will be required for this position, at a cost of £61.50 to be paid for by the employee if you are successful.
The role entails you to transport school children to and from home to school or transport vulnerable adults to and from day centres. You will need to have a caring and friendly nature as it is important that everyone you transport feels safe and comfortable.
Minimum of 2 years driving experience in a Minibus is essential. Full clean licence.

Part-time hours: up to 20 per week ( maybe 25) depending on vacancy availability.
Salary: £12.71per hour
