Surrey Tech Services Ltd is a growing electrical and fire contractor delivering projects and maintenance services across London and the South East. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional customer service and are looking for an organised, enthusiastic and motivated Service Coordinator to join our growing team.
The Role
This is a varied office-based role where no two days are the same. You will play a key part in supporting our Fire Division, ensuring our service department operates efficiently by coordinating engineers, supporting customers and working closely with the management team.
Your primary focus will be supporting the fire side of the business, including planned preventative maintenance, reactive call-outs and remedial works for our fire alarm clients.
While previous administrative or scheduling experience would be beneficial, full training will be provided, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career within a growing company.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule service engineers for planned and reactive maintenance works.
- Manage engineers' daily diaries and appointments.
- Support the day-to-day operation of the Fire Division.
- Compile and issue service reports, certificates and completion documentation.
- Prepare quotations for remedial works identified during service visits.
- Prepare and issue planned maintenance agreements and service contract renewals.
- Order materials and equipment required for service works.
- Liaise with engineers to ensure paperwork is completed accurately and returned promptly.
- Respond to customer enquiries by telephone and email, directing calls to the appropriate department where required.
- Work closely with the management team to ensure works are delivered efficiently.
- Maintain accurate job records and update internal systems.
- Provide general administrative support to the wider business when required.
About You
We're looking for someone who is organised, personable and enjoys working in a professional office environment.
You will ideally have:
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- The ability to prioritise workloads and work as part of a team.
- Previous administration, customer service or scheduling experience is desirable but not essential.
