Your role as an IPV Operative
As part of our high-speed team, you'll help deliver safe, efficient traffic management on some of the UK's busiest roads. Depending on your experience, you will either bring your IPV skills from day one or train with us to become fully qualified.
- Drive and operate the IPV safely and professionally on high-speed works
- Undertake traffic counts, calls to clients and subcontractors, timings and near misses
- Use your existing high-speed/IPV qualifications or work towards them through our training pathway
- Support safe working practices and help guide newer team members as you grow in the role
Trainee route available: If you're not yet IPV qualified but have the right attitude, commitment and driving experience, we can support you through the training needed to build a long-term career in high-speed traffic management.
What are we looking for?
Essential requirements:
- Licence: Class 2/Category C licence
- Qualified applicants: Existing IPV qualification/high-speed traffic management experience would be highly desirable
- Knowledge: Familiarity with Chapter 8 regulations
- Driving Licence: Full licence with no more than 6 points. Any driving bans must have expired at least 5 years ago
- Testing: Must pass a drug and alcohol test (offer contingent on results)
- Attitude: Positive, 'can-do' mindset
- Skills: Adaptability, flexibility, and meticulous attention to detail
- Flexible: Must be able to work permanent nights and shift patterns, including weekends
- Right to work in the UK unsponsored
