Description
We are working with an established forwarder who are looking to recruit an Airfreight Coordinator with both Air Exports/Imports.
The Airfreight Coordinator is responsible for arranging, monitoring, and processing Import/ Export consignments on behalf of both internal and external customers in the most cost-effective manner while achieving required service levels and compliance standards. Includes ensuring temperature - sensitive and time-critical pharmaceutical and healthcare shipments.
Role Involves:
- Manage and priorities daily shipment activities to ensure customer requirements and operational deadlines.
- Ensure all shipment documentation and operational data are completed.
- Start to finish Import & Exports.
- Good customs/ CDS experience.
- Communicate with customers, carriers, overseas agents, suppliers regarding shipment movements.
- Assist with operational audits and provide documentation as required.
- Support other departments such as Healthcare, Perishables, Gateway and General Exports as and when required.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with customers, carriers, overseas partners and internal stakeholders.
Experience.
- Good Air Import / Export start to finish experience.
- Good Customs / CDS experience.
- Any Pharma or Perishable experience advantage.
Monday to Friday 9am-5.30pm
