Hebden Bridge Golf Club are hiring an experienced Greenkeeper to join our team.
This is a 9 hole course.
Full time position. Monday - Friday.
Salary between £28,000.00 - £30,000.00 depending on experience.
Duties:
- Perform landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, edging, and trimming
- Maintain and build garden beds, including planting and mulching
- Irrigate lawns and gardens to ensure proper hydration
- Operate and maintain hand tools and power tools for groundskeeping tasks
- Assist with the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems
- Perform general greenkeeping duties such as raking leaves and removing debris
- Assist with the setup and teardown of outdoor events or activities
The ideal applicant will posses the following skills:
- Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques
- Ability to operate and maintain hand tools and power tools used in greenkeeping
- Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting equipment issues
- Experience in maintaining gardens, lawns, and other outdoor areas
- Proficiency in using irrigation systems for watering plants
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as digging and lifting heavy objects
