Logistics Operative - Forklift Truck & Company Van Driver (Experienced)

Roles and Responsibilities
- Conduct all duties accustomed with goods in and goods out – unloading, loading, storing and organising goods
- Check delivery notes and appropriate documentation before any delivery is offloaded, checking for damaged, incorrect or missing items
- Palletise, label and prepare orders for dispatch
- Load and unload goods, products and materials
- Store goods appropriately and safely
- Move stock around either by hand, using lifting equipment or a forklift truck, keeping materials stocked up in the appropriate locations for use by production
- Support the department in carrying out stock counts as and when required
- Be physical and manual, with the ability to work within a fast paced manufacturing environment.
- Keep areas of work clean, organised and tidy to ensure operational efficiency
- Make recommendations of improvements to aid efficiency and add value to the department
- Ensure that the forklift is inspected daily for maintenance purposes and inspections are recorded
- Load the company van safely and deliver goods to our customers
- Be the company driver who is confident in multi-drop deliveries and able to complete all deliveries in a timely and safe manner
- Ensure workspaces, the yard and factory areas are kept organised and tidy, with the ‘tidy as you go’ mentality
- Undertake any other tasks as and when required to fulfil the demands of this role
- Support and work with the production team to conduct any other duties, as and when requested by management
- Delivering to suppliers and customers as and when requried.

Skills and Qualifications & Certifications Required:
Qualifications with relevance to this role would be preferred
Valid Forklift Truck Counterbalance License
Valid and Clean Driving License, able to drive a 3.5 tonne vehicle (company van)
Shifts & Salary:
Mon-Friday 9am - 6pm
Weekly Pay
Salary - Starting From (National Minimum Wage)
Job Types: Temp to perm, Permanent, Full-time
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
