Job Overview
Due to an increased workload Apex Drilling Services are actively looking for both Cable Percussive and Rotary Drillers to operate a modern fleet of drilling rigs predominantly within South Wales and across the United Kingdom.
As a permanent employee of Apex, you will be automatically enrolled into our pension system, receive good rates of pay with the opportunity to enhance your wage by working away via both overtime and subsistence payments.
Being an operator you will be given a company van, company phone together with a dedicated rig and crewman.
It is assumed that you will be competent within your drilling discipline; however, open to learning additional techniques such as Sonic and Wireline drilling , subsequently enhancing your skill set.
As a minimum you will be expected to hold a CSCS card, NVQ in Land Drilling together with a full UK driving license.
Operating within major sites, you will be required to align with strict drugs and alcohol policies whilst always maintaining a professional attitude to both colleagues and clients.
