Sales Executive – Dobies Cumbria Motors, Workington
We’re looking for someone with excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and the drive to succeed. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, ambitious, and passionate about delivering outstanding customer service. You’ll be working towards sales targets, so a hardworking and determined approach is essential.
Previous experience in a similar sales role or within the motor trade is preferred, but it is not essential. We’re always on the lookout for fresh talent and people with the right attitude who are eager to learn and develop.
As a Peugeot and Vauxhall main dealer, we provide comprehensive manufacturer-approved training and support. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to achieve manufacturer-accredited certification, giving you recognised qualifications and a strong foundation for a long-term career in the motor industry.

- Deliver outstanding customer service both face-to-face and via email and telephone
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong sales skills with the ability to build rapport, identify customer needs, and confidently close sales
- A proactive and target-driven approach to achieving results
- Honesty and integrity
- Self-driven and motivated to achieve success
- A full UK driving licence
- Pride in your performance and professionalism
- The ability to learn our vehicle stock and recommend suitable vehicles based on customer needs
- Confidence in presenting vehicle features, finance options, and additional products in a professional and customer-focused manner

- £28,000 basic salary plus commission
- OTE £40,000–£45,000
