Duties
- Develop and execute comprehensive supply chain strategies for industrial fasteners, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Utilize data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI to analyze market trends, supplier performance, and operational metrics for informed decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements using Six Sigma, Kaizen, and root cause analysis techniques that enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Manage procurement activities through SAP ERP, Oracle EBS, and SAP Supply Chain modules to optimize inventory levels, reduce costs, and improve delivery times.
- Lead logistics planning by coordinating with carriers, warehouses, and suppliers to ensure seamless product flow across regions.
- Conduct process audits and continuous improvement initiatives focused on ERP systems integration, supply chain resilience, and operational excellence.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supply chain efficiency, supplier quality, and customer satisfaction; report findings regularly to senior management.
- Drive strategic supplier negotiations and foster strong vendor relationships to secure favorable terms and reliable supply sources.
Experience
- Proven experience in supply chain management within the industrial fastener or manufacturing sector.
- Extensive knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP ERP, Oracle EBS, or similar platforms; experience with SAP modules related to procurement and logistics preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI; familiarity with SQL for data extraction is a plus.
- Demonstrated success in process improvement initiatives utilizing Six Sigma or Kaizen methodologies.
- Background in logistics planning, inventory management, and supply chain optimization.
- Ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement sustainable solutions for complex operational challenges.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external partners.
