Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality childcare by planning and implementing age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development
- Supervise children during playtime, mealtimes, naps, and outdoor activities to ensure their safety at all times
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through clear communication and active engagement
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming nursery environment that adheres to health and safety standards
- Support the management team in daily operational tasks, including record keeping and activity planning
- Lead by example in promoting good behavior, social skills, and emotional well-being among children
- Assist with onboarding new staff members or trainees to ensure consistent quality of care
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with children in a nursery or early childhood education setting
- Strong management and leadership skills to guide both children and team members effectively
- Excellent communication skills in English to interact confidently with children, parents, and colleagues
- Knowledge of childcare best practices, health & safety regulations, and early childhood development principles
- Ability to demonstrate patience, empathy, and a nurturing attitude toward young children
- Valid childcare or nursery qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Early Years Educator) preferred
- A clean driving license is advantageous for roles involving nursery transportation or outreach activities

Pay: £27,420.00-£37,953.41 per year
