Due to continued growth and an expanding client portfolio, we are looking to recruit an experienced Health & Safety Consultant / Advisor to join our team.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a forward-thinking consultancy where you will play a key role in supporting clients with compliance, improving site standards, and delivering practical Health & Safety solutions across live environments.
The role can be offered on either a full-time or part-time basis for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
Carrying out site inspections, audits, and compliance reviews
Undertaking scaffold inspections
Producing RAMS, risk assessments, and Health & Safety documentation
Providing practical Health & Safety advice to clients and site teams
Supporting clients with compliance against UK legislation and industry standards
Assisting with accident/incident investigations and reporting
Supporting toolbox talks, briefings, and training initiatives
Identifying areas for continual improvement across client operations
Building positive relationships with clients and operatives on site
Essential Requirements
NEBOSH General Certificate (minimum)
Minimum 3 years’ site-based experience within construction or related sectors
Previous experience within a Health & Safety role
Good understanding of UK Health & Safety legislation
Experience carrying out site inspections and audits
Strong communication and organisational skills
Full UK driving licence
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
Desirable
IOSH Membership (TechIOSH or above)
Scaffold Inspection qualification/experience
Experience within housing, construction, or facilities management sectors
Experience producing RAMS and compliance documentation
Additional Health & Safety qualifications or training experience
