Job Title: Assistant Football Coach
Location: Birkenhead
Monday evenings at Birkenhead High School, CH43 1TY - 5:30pm - 8:30pm.

First Kick Football is looking for an Assistant Football Coach to join our team in the Birkenhead area.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is passionate about football, enjoys working with children and is looking to develop their coaching experience. There is potential for additional hours and opportunities to take on more responsibility as you develop within the role.
What We Offer
- £12.71–£15.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
- Regular Monday evening coaching hours.
- Opportunities to coach on other weekday football programmes, Saturdays and holiday clubs.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in conducting lively and interactive football training sessions tailored for Primary school-aged children.
- Collaborate with coaching staff to design dynamic activities, drills, and games that emphasise skill development and teamwork.
- Provide enthusiastic encouragement and mentorship to players, creating a positive and inclusive environment for learning and growth.
- Support the coaching team in maintaining session structure and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Help create an environment where children can develop their football skills while enjoying themselves.
Requirements:
- Passion for football and a genuine desire to inspire and mentor young players.
- An outgoing and engaging personality with exceptional communication skills.
- Interest in coaching and supporting the training of Primary school-aged children.
- Working towards or possess a Football Association (FA) coaching qualification.
- Valid First Aid qualification or willingness to obtain one.
- Valid Safeguarding qualification or willingness to obtain one.
- A valid driving license is preferable but not mandatory.
- Enhanced DBS check (Disclosure and Barring Service) will be required.
