What you’ll actually do
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults on cars and commercial vehicles
- Carry out servicing, MOT prep, brakes, clutches, timing belts, suspension, exhaust, general repairs
- Work on HGVs and lorries where required, engines, brakes, air systems, running gear
- Use diagnostic equipment properly and interpret results, not just read codes
- Keep accurate job records so the office can invoice cleanly
- Communicate clearly with the admin team about parts needed, delays or additional work
- Maintain a clean, safe, professional workshop environment
- During downtime implementing positive impactful changes in the workshop environment

Ideal experience
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or serious time-served experience)
- HGV / commercial vehicle experience strongly preferred
- Valid driving licence; HGV licence a bonus

Pay: £31,616.00-£45,000.00 per year
Work Location: In person
