Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Window Fitter or two man team to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and replacing windows across customer properties, ensuring high standards of safety and craftsmanship.
Responsibilities
- Install windows according to project specifications and surveys
- Ensure all fittings are secure, weatherproofed, and aesthetically aligned with client expectations
- Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment safely and effectively
- Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure compliance with safety standards
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment at all times
- Follow health and safety protocols diligently during all phases of installation
Requirements
- Proven experience in window fitting, cut outs, lintels Roofs etc.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, fabrication techniques, and schematics reading
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Physical fitness to handle lifting and working at heights; comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Valid UK driving licence is preferred for site access purposes
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in construction trades are desirable but not essential
