Here at Americold, we are recruiting for Warehouse Operatives based at our Spalding site.
This role is based within our Blast Freeze section, where you’ll be responsible for a mix of general operative and forklift duties in a temperature-controlled environment.
Key Responsibilities

Loading and unloading trucks as required

Transferring pallets from loading bays to designated storage areas

Operating within the Blast Freeze area, ensuring product integrity is maintained at all times

Receiving and dispatching pallets via Warehouse Management System (WMS) using handheld scanners

Following all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)

Carrying out general warehouse duties, including manual handling and product handling

Supporting packing and preparation of products for distribution

Adhering strictly to HACCP food safety standards and company procedures

Maintaining high standards of health & safety at all times
Working hours
Sunday - Thursday (7am - 5pm)

Previous experience within a warehouse or manufacturing environment

Good attention to detail

Ability to work well as part of a team

Good communication skills
Desirable
Forklift licence (desirable but not essential – training can be provided)
