Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with precision, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish
- Follow food safety protocols and maintain cleanliness standards throughout the kitchen
- Independent meal preparation, including chopping, assembling, and plating dishes efficiently
- Manage ingredient inventory, restocking supplies as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent serving experiences and timely service
- Maintain a clean and organized work station, adhering to health regulations at all times
- Support the overall operation of the café by assisting with special events or catering requests when required
Experience
- Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of kitchen safety practices and food handling procedures
- Previous restaurant or café experience is required
- Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and culinary standards
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with staff effectively
