Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences
- Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience
- Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring timely delivery of drinks
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and supplies
- Ensure compliance with food safety and alcohol licensing regulations at all times
- Manage cash register operations, including handling payments and giving correct change
- Restock bar supplies as needed during shifts to ensure smooth service flow
- Monitor guest behaviour to promote responsible drinking and prevent over-intoxication
Qualifications
- Previous experience working as a bartender or in a hospitality role within a restaurant setting is preferred
- Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service is essential
- Strong serving skills with an emphasis on customer satisfaction
- Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
- Excellent time management abilities to prioritise tasks efficiently during busy periods
- Good organisational skills to keep the bar area tidy and well-stocked
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining professionalism and friendliness
- A personable attitude with strong communication skills suitable for engaging with diverse guests
