Role Overview:
As a Senior Carer, you will be responsible for providing care to individuals with diverse needs, dispensing medication, and updating care plans. Additionally, you will assist our Care Assistants in developing their skills to become excellent carers. Candidates must possess a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
Role Expectations:
- Take part in creating and updating individual care plans for each resident, and accurately administer and record prescribed medications.
- Deliver the highest level of personal care and attention to residents, meticulously following individual care plans and ensuring all interactions are polite, friendly, warm, and supportive.
- Provide leadership to the care staff, ensuring they contribute to the efficient operation of the service, and supervise those under your guidance.
- Build positive relationships with residents and their families.
- Ensure the health and well-being of all staff within the home, fostering effective working relationships with other employees.
- Collaborate with members of the multidisciplinary team and liaise with other care professionals regarding residents' needs.
- Maintain current skill levels and engage in training and development as required.
- Actively seek opportunities for personal and professional growth.
