Working as part of the Council’s newly formed Programme Management Office (PMO), the post holder will be required to provide support for the council’s in-house approach to performance, project and programme management and transformation. Coordinating reporting on the council’s projects and key performance indicators. Providing business analysis/transformation skills and project management knowledge to improve service delivery and assist with Local Government Reorganisation (LGR).
Duties include:

Supporting effective performance management using Key Performance Indicators for all services across the Council.

Coordinating the process for reviewing and reporting on council projects.

Supporting development and delivery of training and coaching on the council’s Performance Management Framework and Programme/Project Management Methodology.

Supporting the development and implementation of the council’s transformation plan and change programme.

Leading small transformation projects across the council, using the latest tools and techniques.
About You
You will have previous experience in:

Performance reporting

Project support and reporting
-
Supporting transformation and change initiatives

Coordinating management information
For this role you will need:

A degree (or equivalent experience) in a relevant subject

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

A high standard of IT literacy
-
To be a self-starter and be able to work alone or as part of a team
The hours of work for this position are 37 per week, working Monday to Friday. Different working patterns will be considered.
