Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organised Service and Parts Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in managing parts inventory, assisting customers, and ensuring smooth operations within our service department. Responsibilities
- Assist our with sourcing the correct parts for their vehicles, providing exceptional phone and face-to-face service to the customer.
- Maintain accurate records of parts inventory using Microsoft Excel and other organisational tools.
- Manage incoming calls efficiently, demonstrating professional phone etiquette at all times.
- Process orders, returns, and exchanges promptly, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure parts availability aligns with scheduled services.
- Keep the parts department organised, clean, and well-stocked to optimise workflow.
- Provide support with general maintenance tasks within the department as required.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers and internal teams to track orders and resolve discrepancies.
Requirements
- Proven organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a friendly and professional phone manner.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic computer literacy is essential.
- Previous experience in a parts or automotive environment is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to assist our diverse customer base.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.
