Labourer / Mechanical Installation Mate – Air Conditioning
We’re looking for a reliable labourer / installation mate to assist with air-conditioning and mechanical installation work.
Pay: £15–£18 per hour – negotiable depending on experience
Contract: Temporary to start, with potential for further work
Working away: Required – hotels provided plus overnight allowance
CSCS card: Essential
Previous experience with mechanical installation work would be beneficial. Experience within air conditioning, HVAC, plumbing, electrical or other mechanical trades would be an advantage, although specific air-conditioning experience isn’t essential.
The role will involve:
- Assisting engineers with air-conditioning installations
- General mechanical installation work
- Moving and positioning equipment and materials
- Using hand and power tools
- Keeping work areas organised and working safely on site
We’re looking for someone who is:
- Reliable and punctual
- Practical and comfortable using tools
- Willing and able to work away from home
- Hard-working with a good attitude
- Health & safety conscious
- Able to work well as part of a small installation team
Hotels are provided when working away, along with an overnight allowance.
