The Role
An ABA Tutor is essentially a specialist SEN Teaching Assistant role, working closely with children and young people with autism and complex needs.
You'll support pupils 1:1 and in small groups, helping with learning, communication, emotional regulation, independence and daily routines. The role can include personal and intimate care, with full training provided.
The school is particularly keen to meet caring, patient and reliable people who genuinely want to build a long-term career within SEN.
Successful candidates will initially complete a paid trial period of several weeks through Teach and Connect. If it's a good fit for both you and the school, the role can then progress temp-to-perm or directly to a permanent contract with the school.
