Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Public Relations Manager to do the soft launch of our upcoming Cafe at St John's Wood, London. Candidate is expected to oversee and enhance our organisation’s public image.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic communication plans, managing media relations, and fostering positive relationships with stakeholders. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the organisation’s reputation and increase visibility within the community and industry.
Duties
- Plan and execute soft launch for new cafe - Astha's
- Develop and execute comprehensive public relations strategies aligned with organisational goals.
- Manage media contacts, organise press releases, and coordinate press conferences to ensure favourable coverage.
- Monitor media coverage and analyse public perception of the organisation.
- Cultivate relationships with journalists, influencers, and community leaders to promote organisational initiatives.
- Oversee the organisation’s social media presence, ensuring consistent messaging across platforms.
- Coordinate internal communications to keep staff informed and engaged.
- Handle crisis communication effectively to protect organisational reputation during challenging situations.
- Organise events, sponsorships, and community outreach programmes to enhance public engagement.
Requirements
- Proven experience in public relations or related communications roles.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to build and maintain professional relationships with media outlets, stakeholders, and the community.
- Knowledge of current PR trends, social media platforms, and digital communication tools.
- A proactive approach with problem-solving capabilities and resilience under pressure.

Pay: £24,420.00-£45,000.00 per year
