About the Role
We are seeking an exceptionally adaptable individual to join our casual cleaning bank staff. This role is strictly for reactive cover—meaning you will step in to look after local commercial facilities when permanent staff are off sick or on holiday.
Important Notice on Hours: Because this is an as-needed relief role, work will fluctuate significantly. There may be periods with no hours or work at all for several weeks, followed by busy periods where you are needed at very short notice. This role is ideal for someone who does not rely on a fixed weekly income and genuinely prioritises extreme lifestyle flexibility.
Key Requirements:
- Extreme Flexibility: Must be comfortable with unpredictable hours and available to accept cover shifts on short notice.
- Own Transport Essential: Must possess your own reliable vehicle and a valid driving licence to travel quickly to various local sites.
- Adaptability: Ready to switch between cleaning office blocks, staff canteens, kitchenettes, and communal washrooms.
- Reliability: Once a short-notice shift is accepted, you must be 100% dependable and punctual.
- Experience: Previous experience in commercial or office cleaning is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Office & Communal Areas: Vacuuming, dusting desks, emptying bins, and sanitising high-touch surfaces.
- Canteen & Kitchen Hygiene: Deep cleaning food prep areas, wiping tables, and maintaining strict hygiene.
- Washroom Facilities: Thoroughly cleaning, disinfecting, and restocking toilets and hand stations.
