Rental conditions
This is a self-employed chair-rental opportunity, not an employed or salaried position.
The successful stylist will:
- Run their own independent business from the salon
- Manage their own clients, bookings, prices and payments
- Keep their own earnings
- Agree set rental days with the salon
- Pay chair rent for the agreed reserved days, whether or not they attend
- Pay rent at the agreed time and frequency
- Hold their own professional insurance
- Be responsible for their own tax, National Insurance and business records
- Supply their own tools and professional products unless otherwise agreed
- Maintain professional standards and leave their work area clean and tidy
- Follow the salon’s health, safety and client-care policies
- Give the agreed notice if they wish to change their days or end the rental arrangement
We are looking for someone who is friendly, professional, reliable and wants to become part of a positive salon atmosphere while still running their own business independently.
An existing client base would be beneficial, but we are also happy to hear from motivated stylists who are looking to grow.
