Maintenance operative: 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday with on call responsibilities.
We are seeking a skilled person to join our residential care home team. You will be responsible for providing maintenance services in accordance with best practices, agreed standards, legislative requirements and relevant regulations under Care Act 2015.
You will need to action both planned and unscheduled maintenance issues and prioritise in terms of urgency and liaise with approved sub-contractors.
General skills in woodwork, mechanical repairs, basic electrics, fire safety are required and keeping the home to the required environmental standards and presentation.
· Implement actions to meet and maintain maintenance standards
Ensure compliance with the Quality Management System for maintenance
· Systematically solve day-to-day problematic issues which arise
· Ensure the service users’ rights are protected and safety is maintained within their home environment.
Job Type: Full-time
